Synopsis: Ash Nightsun was raised to believe in one simple truth: monsters exist, and it’s his duty to eradicate them. He is from the long lineage of hunters, a bloodline sworn to purge the world of the supernatural—vampires, shapeshifters, anything that defies nature’s laws. And now, his sights are set on Forks, Washington. The Cullens believe they can live in peace. The Quileute wolves believe they are protectors. Ash knows better. To him, they are all abominations—Cold Ones who mimic humanity and beasts who claim to be warriors but are nothing more than mindless predators. He has studied their kind, learned their weaknesses, and now, he has come to wipe them out. But Forks is not like his previous hunts. The Cullens are not the ruthless killers he expected, and the shapeshifters are more human than the legends claimed. Yet, Ash refuses to be swayed. Every encounter with them only fuels his determination. He will not fail where others have. However, the hunter soon realizes that Forks holds secrets even he was not prepared for. As tensions rise and the lines between friend and foe blur, Ash faces a choice: hold onto the hatred that has defined him or uncover the truth that could shatter everything he believes.
