He reached out to unbutton her clothes.
It wasn't a smooth operation – he fumbled with the buttons, only managing to undo one after much effort.
Zhou Xufang also felt uneasy, grabbing at her collar. "I'll do it myself."
Jiang Zhi made a sound of acknowledgment and licked his teeth.
"Jiang Zhi," her voice was tiny, "could you close your eyes for a minute?"
Jiang Zhi simply turned away. "Tell me when you're done."
"Oh."
She then looked around like a thief, hesitating a long while before she started to get undressed, keeping one sleeve on her arm and holding the hospital gown up in front of her to hide her body, revealing only the injury on her back.
She spoke softly like a kitten, "I'm done."
Jiang Zhi turned back, glanced at her injury, and quickly looked away. "Fang Bao, turn around so your back is facing me."
She turned around.
Jiang Zhi placed the medical tray on the bed. "Tell me if it hurts."
"Okay."
But Zhou Xufang didn't cry out in pain.
