Herbert was surprised to see that Rean had the time to send him a message in that situation, but since it was attached to his brain, he still managed to read it in the nick of time. Yet, his expression turned ugly, thinking that he had read something ridiculous.
Too bad he didn't have time to answer that message. Zantie and Xesht arrived once again. They could do better than they are doing so far, but both Zantie and Xesht were still aware of each other's presence. What if the other tried something? Or, what if one of them spends all their energy to take Herbert down? Wouldn't that give Samalia the advantage? Besides, even though they were holding back, they were still making Herbert use a lot more energy to fight them back, so the results were good enough.
