After finishing the phone call, Mo Xiuchen returned to the bedside, sat on the edge of the bed, and watched Wen Ran.
His mood, which was depressed because of the issues with Luo Haofeng, had gradually calmed down with Ranran's companionship.
He hesitated, debating whether or not to let Ranran know about Bai Xiaoxiao's issue. Ranran was still in the early stages of pregnancy, the first three months being the most unstable.
Privately, Mo Xiuchen did not want Ranran to experience any sadness, anger, or emotional fluctuations because of anything. However, Bai Xiaoxiao was Ranran's best friend, and if he hid it from her, Ranran would surely blame him.
After much hesitation, Mo Xiuchen made a decision.
He walked over to the floor-to-ceiling window and dialed Bai Xiaoxiao's number. There were several rings before Xiaoxiao's voice came through the phone, and despite her attempts to hide it, the traces of crying were audible.
