Bai Yiyi lowered her eyes, her gaze paused on the tips of her shoes for a few seconds before she lifted her head again and looked calmly at Li En. "What's the deal with Gu Kai's matter?"
Upon hearing the name Gu Kai, Li En's complexion subtly darkened, his facial features becoming more rigid. "Yiyi, I've looked into it, and that man who bullied you is Gu Kai."
This answer had crossed Bai Yiyi's mind just moments earlier.
Yet, hearing Li En say it out loud, her face turned a shade paler.
"Yiyi, even if the teacher had harmed Wen Ran in the past, that bastard Gu Kai has no right to hurt you. While the teacher was here, I promised him that if I found out who that man was, I would never let him off the hook."
Li En looked at Bai Yiyi's pale little face and felt a pang in his heart, his rage burning even stronger.
