"Oh, Emily," Dad said, and when he looked at Emily, not long after, he took her closer to himself. Seeing it, I smiled, and while looking at Mom feeding Simon, Angela, and Luke, I looked at Megan. Seeing her, I nodded, and we kept eating peacefully. While all was happening, time passed who knows when.
