"Yes, everyone, don't be afraid. Even if it's powerful, it's still a demonic beast. Isn't it just taking advantage of the fact that we can't see during Eternal Night Time? Just because we can't see doesn't mean we're necessarily weaker than those demonic beasts. Pick up your Swords and let's fight it."
When facing death, the burst of strength is often very powerful. With everyone's courage bolstered, no one was afraid anymore. Feeling a shadow rushing towards them, they would raise their Swords and strike, even if they couldn't harm the demonic beasts at all. But at least, they could make the beasts retreat obediently, right?
And so, the battle between the demonic beasts and humans began, and for a while, it was quite a heated struggle.
