Although she felt a bit uneasy, Aria Grant didn't want to think too much about it because she was simply too tired. Luckily, there was some food in the room.
It was just plain bread, but for Aria Grant, it tasted superb. After stuffing herself with several mouthfuls of bread and taking a big gulp of water, Aria felt full and just lay directly on the bed, no longer wanting to get up.
"I'm sorry, it's my fault you're in this mess. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have been locked up in a place like this."
George Flack was waiting for Aria Grant's response but why couldn't he hear anything? Was Aria Grant still mad at him? He knew it was only natural if she didn't want to pay him any mind; George knew he was unforgivable.
However, when George turned around, he discovered that Aria Grant had fallen onto the bed, fast asleep. Seeing Aria resting made George feel relieved; at least she didn't have to suffer anymore and finally had a bed to rest on.
