Ivy Grant lay on Thomas Yates's legs, sobbing. Already with little strength left, her continuous crying had left her somewhat faint.
So it was still Thomas's voice she first heard. Dylan was talking to someone. Could it be that someone had come to the house?
"Ivy, can you get up for a moment? I want to check the situation outside."
Ivy remained lying down, and Thomas directly lifted her by the arm and started walking outside.
"Who called you?"
Ivy didn't hear Dylan's voice, but she did hear Thomas's. So someone had called?
Ivy wiped her tears with her small hands and hurriedly followed them outside.
She just saw the phone in Dylan's hand, so Ivy lunged forward and snatched the phone away.
"Hello, do you have any news about my mommy?"
Benjamin Swantz heard Ivy's voice and didn't know how to respond.
So, in a pinched voice, he said, "Well, a person who claims to be a friend of your mommy came here to pick up you and Dylan, but you two weren't here."
