Don't even say it, she came in without making a sound and then just placed something directly on her own shoulder. That really scared the hell out of me!
"Ah! Can't you make a little noise or knock on the door? You really could scare someone!"
Benjamin just shrugged; it wasn't his first time doing this, so why wasn't she used to it yet?
"Okay, I get it, but could you at least tell me how things are progressing now? Have you found any useful information?"
The person took Benjamin's hand off and then stood in front of Benjamin, pointing at his dark circles.
"You see, these aren't just drawn on. They're real—I've been really working hard and investigating for a long time to get these!"
Benjamin frowned; all this was truly irrelevant. If there was no useful information found, then no amount of dark circles mattered. How was he supposed to explain this to the little girl outside?
"So, you didn't find any useful information?"
