"I already know I was wrong! I didn't come to do harm today!" Tantai Ming replied to Susu's question with a very firm tone.
He was worried that if he wasn't firm enough, Susu would treat him as a real villain.
"Then what did you come for? You put both my mom and dad to sleep!" Susu pressed on, not ready to let him off without a proper explanation!
"I came to rescue my subordinate," Tantai Ming explained.
"Rescue a subordinate?"
"Yes, just as you want to save your little brother, I also want to save my subordinate. The principle is the same, we both want to bring our family and friends back to our side."
Having been Susu's teacher for nearly two months, Tantai Ming understood her personality and knew how to explain things so she'd be more receptive.
"That makes sense," Susu touched her little chin.
