"Mommy's fine, Little Susu doesn't need to worry," the old Mrs. Qin tried hard to put on a smile, wanting to hide her emotions in front of Susu.
"Mommy, you're lying!" Susu asserted, "My eyes are very sharp, very sharp indeed! I can tell whether you're in a good mood or not! And you are not in a good mood right now."
Seen through by her daughter, Mrs. Qin felt both helpless and warmed. She stretched out her hand to lift Susu onto her lap, and then, patting her little head, she said:
"Our Little Susu really is so clever, Mommy can't hide anything from you."
"Then Mommy, don't keep things from me! I'm almost four years old now! I can help you solve problems!"
"My little Susu really is amazing! Knowing to help Mommy with her worries is so touching. But this is about work, Little Susu will have to grow up before you can help Mommy."
It was that same line again, and Susu couldn't help pouting.
