Neveah sat calmly in Imagor's study, going through a scroll in silence. Imagor, Kirgan and Menarx left a short time ago to see about some affairs and Neveah remained in Imagor's study, awaiting the nightfall.
It would not be wise for her to show her presence around Dragon Keep and so Kirgan had advised Neveah remained in Imagor's study till the time was right.
Neveah breathed a quiet sigh, she placed the scroll down before lifting her gaze to Everon.
"Do you have a better idea? We cannot prevent the council from seeking an explanation if they find out, someone will have to be their target... none of you are suitable for this." Neveah pointed out the obvious.
"Rather than that, the King's guard could retrieve it on their authority, irrespective of the council's protest. The council will not dare be rude to the King's guard, they will have to retreat." Everon suggested in concern.
