Little Yaoyao seemed to wake up, her eyes half-open:
"Mommy Lu?" she mumbled sweetly, while also sitting up.
Lu Jing quickly approached:
"Mommy Lu is here, go back to sleep."
The little one threw herself into Lu Jing's arms:
"Mommy Lu, you finally got off work."
Lu Jing chuckled softly, her hand gently patting the little friend's back:
"Yeah, got off work."
But the little friend didn't reply.
Upon looking, she had fallen back asleep.
Lu Jing picked her up, her voice and movements immediately becoming very gentle:
"Sister-in-law, then we'll be leaving first."
Mrs. Qin, of course, didn't insist on keeping them, after all, it was already past eleven.
"Sure."
Jiang Ye and Old Qin also said their goodbyes, and finally, the two adults and one child left the Old Qin Family's home.
Downstairs, Lu Jing walked very slowly.
