Though called ancient, it was actually only a few decades in the past, but with no news in those decades, it seemed as if centuries had slowly passed by.
Because Roland's mentor was a Dwarf, he was aware of this situation.
The Dwarves were also a race that was once very enthusiastic about astronomy. In fact, their "Skyseeker Sanctuary" had another name in the past, known as "Polaris Apex," a colossal pre-era structure situated atop the Ushetaraf Mountain Range, also known as the Spine of Terra.
