The next morning, the harsh sun way beating down on the party once again. While sun's rays were partially hidden by the ever present veil of sand, that did little to lessen the severe heat of the desert.
Rune fully expected to receive strange glances from the other due to what he and Stella had been doing the night before. The sounds of their love-making weren't exactly quiet. Yet everyone acted as if nothing had happened. Rune glanced at Vara and Xena before moving to steal glances at Shiro and Shelly, but he couldn't see any sign of their behavior being put of the ordinary.
"What?"
Feeling his gaze on her, Shiro looked over to question him. Her face maintained the same cold and stony expression that it always did.
"It's nothing," Rune replied.
'...Well, it isn't like I wanted us to get caught or anything. It is better this way," he thought.
