Hiroshi stood up and lifted Haruki who was clinging to him. "I think it is late enough, I will leave with Haruki," he told his half-brother.
"Why so soon?" Aki murmured in displeasure. "I wanted us to have fun until midnight. We still have an hour before that."
"Some other time," Hiroshi who could not move his worried gaze from the Haruki he had to handle with care maintained his stance and before giving his brother the chance to try another means of persuasion, he began supporting the drunk Haruki out of the room.
"Are they dating?" a girl in a corner whispered but it was not low enough to escape Aki's hearing. His brow furrowed as he watched the departing back of his brother and his first love.
"I don't think they are dating though they seem close," another girl responded. "Perhaps friends?"
