"Amaya, are you alright?" Marx's anxious voice reached her ears.
Amaya jolted from the trance.
"I am alright Marx. I know what to do next time I remember such a scene. I'll just think of my Dad's heartbeat and his warm embrace." Amaya said dreamily.
"Your father is so cool, Princess." Dave blurted out.
Amaya laughed.
"Of course, my Dad is the best!" sadness flashed across her eyes. "I wished he could have come home with me. It was his wish to show the world how awesome her daughter is!"
Marx turned to look at Amaya. He wanted to say something but decided to keep it to himself.
'If Ibrahim indeed came back, shouldn't the situation be awkward?'
It was mid-afternoon when they arrived at Marharlika Palace. The accident delayed them for more than an hour.
Marx parked the car in front of the main gate of the palace. The guard opened the door for Amaya. Both the princess and Marx get out of the car at the same time. Marx threw the key to the guard.
