It had been a while since she had needed to use the communication stone. Misty smiled as she remembered how often she had used her phone in her previous life. Sometimes she missed being able to have the world at her fingertips, but it was doubtful this world would have technology like that for a long time.
"Jay?" Misty whispered into the stone. The Malkin estate wasn't far, so she was pretty sure that he and Kason had made it home. But after waiting a few minutes, she started to wonder if they had gotten caught up in planning for the trip to Mamori. She had almost given up when she heard Jay's voice coming from the communication stone.
"Misty! Is everything alright?" Jay asked.
"Yes, Harinder took me to the training grounds for my first official lesson." Misty chatted with Jay about her first lesson. Jay listened over the stone and could feel her excitement.
"I'm glad you had a good lesson. I remember my first lesson and it wasn't nearly as simple." Jay chuckled.
