Jiang Moxi had just stepped out of the private room when the stern voice of Fu Youhan followed from behind.
"Stop right there!"
The command was brief yet decisive, a command that could not be resisted.
Jiang Moxi did stop and turn around.
"What can I do for you, Third Master Fu?"
She seemed obedient in asking, but her tone was devoid of any emotion.
It was as if her relationship with Fu Youhan was really as simple as that of a server and a customer.
"Why the sudden temper?" Fu Youhan asked instead of answering.
They had had a pleasant time when leaving the house in the morning. How had she become so distant and cold by evening?
Fu Youhan couldn't understand it at all, hence his soul-capturing black eyes stared unwaveringly at Jiang Moxi, as if trying to find the answer on her face.
"I am not in a temper, I just feel that it's best to keep a distance between us."
Jiang Moxi and Fu Youhan were looking at each other, her eyes calm.
