She felt that Beagle had it quite easy compared to her but that was something his position granted him.
Their positions were different and those in a higher position of control had more freedom to do as they liked.
They could tell others to do things for them if they wanted to and those under them would have to follow along with those orders.
Some responsibilities came with such a position but there was still a lot more that could be done from such a position.
Knowing that things worked that way made Ash want to climb up higher even more but her reasons for doing so was not so that she could take things easy.
It was only to make things easier for herself so that she would not be stuck in a position where she would have no control or power again.
Being in such a position still made her feel very uneasy since she did not feel comfortable having others in control of her even if it was a temporary situation.
