Chen Lin narrowed his eyes almost glaring at him, "You.." but she eventually stood up from her chair, her movement fluid and confident.
Before he could react, she leaned in and kissed him, surprising him with the suddenness of it.
The kiss was quick but filled with a certain intensity that neither of them had expected.
Wu Yuxuan was already grinning at this point, getting what he wants.
Chen Lin tilted her head. "Now, tell me the answer. I'm curious."
He shrugged nonchalantly, as though the question was no big deal. "It's simple. Focus on optimizing operations and improving efficiency before slashing any department's budget. If you do that, you won't have to make any cuts in the long run."
Chen Lin bit her lip, trying to hold back a smile. "That's it? You can't leave it at just that."
Wu Yuxuan raised an eyebrow. "Why not?"
"Because," she said, leaning forward, "you've got to explain why streamlining operations is the best option. You're not getting off that easily."
