Chen Lin commented. "You really are a strict CEO," she teased. "Give people an inch, and you'll fire them the moment they slip up."
Wu Yuxuan arched a brow, amused. "I don't need them to slip up. I can cut them off before they even get the chance."
His voice was smooth, unwavering. "You can tell early on whether someone is an asset or a liability. And if it's the latter, it's better to cut them off right away."
He glanced at her. "That's something you should master too, if you're serious about being a CEO."
Chen Lin nodded, mulling over his words. Then, after a moment of hesitation, she blurted out, "Which one am I?"
Wu Yuxuan tilted his head. "Asset or liability?"
She nodded, anticipation flickering in her gaze.
The elevator doors slid open, and instead of walking separately like before, they stepped out together, side by side.
