Chen Lin, the unwitting center of all the chaos on Weibo, was currently sitting at a small breakfast shop, her phone no longer in her hands.
Wu Yuxuan, ever the responsible one, had taken it from her the moment she noticed Chen Lin barely touching her food, her attention glued to her screen.
"Eat first. Weibo won't run away," Wu Yuxuan said firmly, holding the phone hostage.
Chen Lin sighed, resigned, and obediently picked up her chopsticks.
Though the audition video and the growing buzz around her performance lingered at the back of her mind, she focused on finishing her breakfast—mostly because she knew Wu Yuxuan wouldn't let her have her phone back otherwise.
After their meal, the two headed to a nearby convenience store to buy groceries.
