"Very fast," Gao Jie confirmed, nodding sagely. "Some fans are saying if Ji Yuhan doesn't announce anything by the end of the year, they'll take matters into their own hands."
Chen Lin rolled her eyes, but her lips twitched with amusement. "I'd love to see them try."
Gao Jie laughed, nudging her shoulder. "Come on, Lin-jie, at this point, you two might as well just give in and let the fans plan the wedding."
"Right, because that's exactly how life works." She shot him a side glance. "You're enjoying this too much."
"Obviously. This is prime entertainment."
Chen Lin sighed in mock exasperation, but there was an undeniable warmth in her expression. She and Gao Jie had been friends for years, and he was one of the few people in the industry she could genuinely relax around.
"Well, let them have their fun," she said, stretching her arms lazily. "At the end of the day, I'll still be me, and Ji Yuhan will still be… Ji Yuhan."
