Chen Lin pulled out the gaming chair Wu Yuxuan used and sat down, stretching her arms. Just as she was settling in, he walked in, holding a USB drive between his fingers.
"I'll set it up for you," he said, already moving toward the computer.
She hummed in acknowledgment, watching as he got to work.
His fingers moved quickly across the keyboard, his expression focused.
A comfortable silence settled between them before she tilted her head. "Did you ever have that phase?"
Wu Yuxuan paused, glancing at her. "What phase?"
"You know," she smirked, "the 'can't-stop-playing-video-games' phase. Every teenager has one."
To her surprise, he actually nodded. "Yeah. I was into it for a while."
Chen Lin blinked. "Wait—you?"
He shot her a side glance. "Why do you sound so shocked?"
"I just—" She laughed. "I always thought you were the overly serious type, even as a kid. I didn't think you did things that were, you know, fun."
