Ji Yuhan leaned back against the table, arms crossed, as he absorbed her words. His gaze was focused, thoughtful, like he was carefully weighing something in his mind. He let the silence stretch between them for a moment before speaking, his voice calm and even.
"You're here almost every day, yes," he began, his tone matter-of-fact, "but you're not on set for every minute of it." He gave a slight shrug. "And you get plenty of breaks."
Chen Lin frowned slightly, listening intently as he continued.
"I've seen you during those breaks," Ji Yuhan added, his eyes briefly flicking toward her before returning to a distant point. "You don't do much besides go over the script."
Chen Lin nodded slowly. "That's what I was thinking too."
Ji Yuhan tilted his head slightly, a glimmer of amusement tugging at the corner of his lips. "Then why not use that time?"
