In a hushed tone, using an ancient noble etiquette from the Tower faction, he spoke. "Honored Lord, there's no need for doubt. What you see before you is merely a fragment of my soul."
"A fragment of your soul?" Ethan frowned slightly.
Azariel nodded, his expression tinged with sorrow. "My true form perished alongside my master in battle. But I still exist… because my master refused to let his magical legacy vanish into the dust of history."
