Why? Because they can be brought back to life.
Worst case? You just have to cough up a little "resurrection fee."
And money? Please. It's just a tool. No point hoarding it.
What really matters is power—your army, your units. That's the real deal.
If your fists are strong enough, if your forces are powerful enough, you'll never have to worry about money or resources. That stuff comes to you.
But that's only under normal circumstances.
Now, if we're talking about bought units—troops you purchased from someone else—then yeah, things get dicey. If they die, you're screwed. Because you've got nowhere to bring them back.
Doesn't matter if it's a regular unit or a hero-class one—once they fall in battle, their soul returns to the Castle Heart they're bound to. From there, they can be resurrected through the Creature Dwellings or Hero Altars tied to that Castle Heart.
