"Alice... you..." Keira Leaf choked up for a moment, her heart shocked to its core.
"Actually, for someone like me, love has always been an unnecessary luxury. Whether I have it or not, I'll live fine," Jackson Sully said softly.

"It won't take long before I'll forget him, as if he had never appeared. Although, forgetting him seems a bit harder than forgetting others, I've had too many passersby in my life and I got used to it long ago," Jackson Sully said softly.
Keira Leaf fell silent for a moment. She didn't know what to say because, in truth, they both understood that love wasn't everything in life. Just about everyone had experienced a heart-wrenching or unforgettable period and then carried on with those memories, as if everything in the past had never happened.
The two talked intermittently, not knowing who fell asleep first, but the cool night gradually warmed by their body heat.
