"Last night, she was still snacking on midnight snacks, and today she's on a diet? This is clearly a lack of respect for me," thought Mrs. Cohen resentfully. "Scarlett Glenn is being too disrespectful. I'm trying to make amends with her, and yet she's putting on airs."
Mrs. Cohen cared a lot about her reputation. She felt that her own face had been lost in front of Winna Campbell because of Scarlett Glenn, and she couldn't guess what Winna Campbell was thinking of her.
So, Mrs. Cohen forgot the previous conversation with Ollie Cohen and pulled out her phone to call Mrs. Herd directly.
Mrs. Herd was in the kitchen cooking dinner. Although she didn't need to cook, she was really bored at home, so she had taken to cooking herself recently.
She didn't check who was calling and just answered the phone, wedging it between her neck and shoulder, "Hello, who is this?"
"Hello, Isabella, it's me. Where are you right now?"
