"Xue'er, let's go back." Chu Molin took Qin Xue's hand and quickly descended the mountain.
"Alright." Qin Xue responded with a smile, feeling truly content.
"Nanny, please pack your things, and leave the village with me tomorrow." As Qin Xue and the others reached the doorway, they overheard Qing Teng speaking to the nanny.
"Miss, what is this?" The nanny looked at Qing Teng, both surprised and delighted. Was it what she thought it was?
"Nanny, we've settled the matters here. Tomorrow, the Holy Maiden and the others will leave, and I've stepped down from my role as a guardian. I want to follow the Holy Maiden, and I'm taking you with me. If you don't wish to leave the village with me, you don't have to."
Qing Teng had never mentioned this to the nanny before. In hindsight, she realized she had acted quite decisively without consulting the nanny's wishes.
