A warrior capable of taking on a thousand, single-handedly facing a hundred enemies. Such scenarios are not uncommon in history, and braves who spouted boastful words against an enemy with absolute numerical superiority were not rare either, among the many towering figures—women too were not lacking.
Even so.
Among the many heroic men and women, there was no example of an unarmed woman, appearing frail and weak, declaring to a group of killing machines in a tone as if toying with prey, "I will slaughter every one of you."
From ancient times to now, there was only this one instance.
It was too crazy, too unrealistic, and simply impossible for people to treat as anything other than a joke. Other than laughing it off, no other reaction seemed appropriate.
But the people present at the scene couldn't take these words as a prank or a joke.
