Chapter 1811 - 26. The Destruction of the Kingdom (XV)

The soaring tenor repeatedly sang "No one sleeps, no one sleeps," and through the spirited singing, one could glimpse the brilliant starry sky. But the scene that appeared was not a glamorous stage with dazzling stars, but a murderous fleet of bombers.

A mix of incendiary bombs poured out from the bomb bays, a new type of napalm, whose composition had been enhanced from the past thickening agents and gasoline compounds to a barium-aluminum mix that not only increased adhesiveness but also, with the addition of reactive alkali metals, produced a reaction when the metal combined with water, reigniting to further amplify the fire's intensity.

In other words, these new incendiary agents could not be extinguished with water; if fallen into lakes or rivers, they would ignite further and release extreme heat. Those who followed their instincts to dive into bodies of water hoping to escape would soon find themselves choosing between being burned alive, suffocated, or boiled to death.
