The Wehrmacht was proficient in using air power to suppress ground targets but never neglected their field troops—especially the field anti-air defense of the armored columns. As much pleasure as the images of the Charlemagne Royal Army being bombarded and turned upside down by air raids brought to the Elves, these sensitive fellows also conjured up scenes of armored columns being subjected to air strikes. Various calibers of turrets flying in the air in all manners truly frightened them. This self-scaring imaginative thinking directly influenced the development of the "Legions," resulting in not only a slew of rapid-fire anti-aircraft artillerymen, but nearly all "Legions" were endowed with anti-air capabilities.
