Ethan Jenkins narrowed his eyes slightly, "What is Derei doing?"
Amanda Jenkins hesitated for a moment.
Soon, a sly smile flashed in her lively eyes.
She quickly suppressed her smile, deliberately avoiding Ethan's gaze and even raised her hand to shield her eyes as if to hide something.
Seeing her actions, Ethan immediately pressed, "Is there something going on? With her current status, she shouldn't be invited to such banquets. Are you taking her with you? Or is there something else?"
"No... nothing at all."
"Spill it!" Ethan suddenly raised his tone.
"Oh!" Amanda reflexively straightened up.
Whenever her brother reprimanded her as a child, she would obediently listen.
"Well..." Amanda began carefully, "But you can't tell Derei if I tell you, or she'll stop talking to me."
Ethan's brows furrowed, "What exactly is it?"
Looking around, Amanda leaned over the stone table towards Ethan, cupped her mouth with a hand, and whispered conspiratorially, "She's going on a date."
