"Definitely!" Amanda Jenkins insisted, "If you don't believe it, let's make a bet!"
"Okay," Lucas Griffin said, his lips curling into a smile, "What's the bet?"
"How about we bet..." Amanda paused, unable to think of something interesting to bet on at the moment.
A playful smirk appeared in Lucas Griffin's eyes. "Let's bet on who serves who tonight. If you win, I'll serve you. If I win, you serve me."
"Sure!" Amanda agreed without hesitation, "Let's make the bet. I'm not afraid of you. I'm not going to lose anyway!"
As the smile in Lucas Griffin's eyes deepened, Amanda suddenly paused, belatedly realizing she'd been tricked.
When Lucas mentioned "serving," the first thing that came to her mind was serving the other person meals or drawing a bath—simple tasks like that. But...
Judging by the mischievous glint in Lucas's eyes, his idea of "serving" probably wasn't so innocent.
So, win or lose, she was the one who would be at a disadvantage tonight!
