Lucas Griffin asked, "Is the hypnosis treatment going smoothly?"
"Not at all," Stella said truthfully.
She shook her head, "People with strong willpower are the hardest to hypnotize, but she doesn't belong to that category. She... She's very strange, all her bodily functions are normal and healthy, but it's as if she's just a soulless zombie. It seems she has no consciousness or thoughts at all. I've tried several times to enter her mind and communicate with her, but I can't succeed."
Hearing Stella say this, Amanda's heart sank.
She couldn't help but take a step back.
Lucas quickly embraced her, "Amanda, don't worry."
Amanda looked desperate and shook her head in disbelief, "How could Mother have become like this? I thought... I thought everything would be fine once she woke up."
