Amanda Jenkins tentatively spoke, "Derei, maybe... we should cancel the wedding for now?"
Jesslyn Derei snapped back to reality and shook her head vigorously, "No! We can't cancel the wedding!"
Amanda was taken aback and glanced at Lucas Griffin, hesitating to speak further.
With determination in her hand that was holding the spoon, Jesslyn Derei said with some force, "Brother Ethan told me he would never leave me again. This time, he might have gone to see a doctor, worrying that we would be concerned, so he didn't let us know. I believe that, as before, he will stand before me just fine!"
"I'll wait for him!" Jesslyn Derei's resolute eyes were filled with anticipation, "He must know that I would wait for him to come back for the wedding, so he will definitely come back!"
"I also believe Uncle will come back," Kent muttered to himself, "Uncle is so kind, he won't leave us."
The tip of Amanda's nose tingled, and she quickly blinked hard.
