Lucas Griffin raised his foot to follow Jasper Bollock out but Amanda Jenkins grabbed his hand.
Amanda Jenkins looked worried and asked in a low voice, "Where are you going?"
Lucas Griffin raised an eyebrow, "Of course, to see him off."
"Lucas!" Amanda Jenkins frowned, explaining anxiously, "There's really nothing between Jasper and me! He just came to visit me, and we chatted for a bit."
"Idiot!" Lucas Griffin pinched Amanda Jenkins' nose hard, "Of course, I trust you. But if I don't see off someone who kindly came to visit you, it would make me, Lucas Griffin, seem very ungracious."
"Then promise me that you'll be a person with class! You can't argue or fight with him."
"Don't worry," Lucas Griffin nodded, "We are both people with class."
Seeing the serious look in Lucas Griffin's eyes, Amanda Jenkins finally let go, "Alright, I believe you."
