Evelyn Crawford's words left Amanda Jenkins feeling a bit embarrassed to continue hesitating.
She got into the car and asked, "What's up? Speak."
Chewing gum, Evelyn Crawford said, "First, tell me, did you inform anyone else that I was coming to see you?"
"I didn't. But..." Amanda Jenkins admitted truthfully, "If you don't want to be discovered by others, we only have half an hour. My assistant will come down to look for me soon."
"You've got to be kidding," Evelyn Crawford scoffed. "Amanda Jenkins, are you really that worried I'll kidnap you?"
Amanda Jenkins glanced at the time on her phone, "Precisely, 23 minutes left."
"OK." Evelyn Crawford nodded. "I'm really taken for granted here. If it weren't for the fact that you're the woman Jasper Bollock likes, if it weren't for my desire to accumulate some good deeds, I wouldn't have bothered coming to you today."
Amanda Jenkins frowned and looked at Evelyn Crawford, "Cut to the chase."
"Stella is in my hands."
