None challenged Kir when he landed at the doors of Isegart's citadel.
It wasn't hard to find Amarena, all he had to do was stand in the middle of the grand hall, letting his mana leak into the air around him, and she appeared within minutes, towing behind her a knight she'd introduced to Kir but who he'd had little time to interact with over the last few days.
"Kir, I didn't know if you'd be back today."
"Rena, Knight Telan," Kir greeted, looking up and down at the large pack on Amarena's back.
"He remembered my name. Not sure how I feel about having a Duke of Hell knowing me," Telan joked, smacking the back of his hand into Amarena's forearm.
"Are you leaving?" Kir asked.
"The Knight Elders made it clear that I should strongly consider choosing my own assignments... Now that I have been anointed a Knight Commander." She looked away with a slight huff. "So yes, I plan to leave. With you, if you'll have me."
