The darkness trembled, making the ships turn into boats in the middle of a storm. The ships glowed from their thin layer of shield bearing the brunt of the impacts, leaving them unmoving like reefs in the sea.
At the side, isolated from the gathered ship from the different factions that appeared, the Dark Arrow glowed with a bright light, attracting attention to itself.
"Interesting."
The Young Lord muttered, his teeth appearing white in the shadow as he turned his head to the right.
"Using energy to shield themselves, and at the same time to gain weight and anchor themselves, while letting the body of the ship bear the rest of the impact. Inefficient but smart."
With that, he once again ignored the ant amidst the giants, and turned back to the now naked brown giant. It felt old, but stately and heavy, with a majesty brooking no disrespect.
As the outside calmed down, a gravely voice came from behind him:
"Young Lord, the vessel is ready to take you down."
