After everything was explained, Pedro said, "Well, now that everything has been explained—"
Pedro seemed ready to dismiss everyone when Leo, who was still clinging to me like an animal to its owner, coughed.
"COUGH COUGH COUGH."
I looked at him, worried that something had happened, and whispered, "Leo, are you okay?"
"Yes, love," he replied.
After hearing his response, I turned away, ignoring his continued shamelessness and teasing while my ears quietly turned slightly red.
Contrary to what I expected Pedro to say, he clapped his hands cheerfully and invited everyone to dinner. "How about a dinner together? We have a large roasted monster meat stuffed with vegetables, and for dessert, a series of different flavored jellies."
Lívia and Luana were clearly excited.
"Can we eat with you, Mr. Pedro?" they asked.
Pedro seemed surprised for two seconds but then appeared to recognize their style and smiled softly. "Captain Artur, Tiago, let's go."
Tiago happily accepted. "Sure!"
