"Step on it, man! If we let that crazy woman escape, it'll be our asses!" a bearded man barked at the person in the driver's seat.
"Jeez man, what did she do?" the random driving the car asked.
"She shot the mayor, his daughter, his wife, and kidnapped his son, that's what! The crazy wench kidnapped the mayor's son's girlfriend too – though I bet we can scrap that from the report. Is that motivation enough for your urgency, grandma?!"
The irrelevant in the driver's seat accelerated, and the armored truck galloped forward, speeding past the other tens of vehicles that were pursuing the jeep ahead!
Earlier today, a tall, pale beauty had waltzed into the Red Monument, a high-class resort reserved only for important local and international officials, and killed all the guards and her intended targets. It had barely been a challenge for her given the messy remains she left behind. She had left with two struggling individuals in her arms as she evaded the city's security which had responded fairly quickly.
Her motives were unknown, but it was suspected that she was trying to send some sort of message to the government.
"Tsk!"
The man in the passenger seat knocked on the plating that divided the front of the truck from the back. Seven men in heavy, advanced suits of armor were patiently waiting for the action to commence while loading their heavy artillery.
The black suits they wore made their bodies look twice as large, reducing mobility, but maximizing defense. The size, if anything, was a testament to the sturdy alloy that encased them in invincibility. Or so they thought.
"When we pin them down, don't hesitate to shoot that woman and whoever her accomplice is dead! And make sure not to turn the mayor's son into collateral, got it? You might as well point those AKs at your own domes if you do!" the man in the passenger seat cried.
His voice blasted well enough through the box-shaped slot on the plating behind him. It was larger than one would expect.
The man gnashed his teeth. This was going to be a tough fight. Rather than a Fint User, he assumed they were up against a Utility User. A particularly dangerous one at that. He could only hope that the Bureau would send someone before these criminals got out of the city.
Of course, that was if he and his team failed to stop the enemy first.
He was fairly confident they could pull it off. They had to.

A dark jeep made a sharp turn, smoke rising around its tires as it skidded across the tar.
Within it, Emil, whose actual name was Ess, looked at his sister, and then at the quivering duo in the back seat suspiciously.
"What are those, Bee?" he asked.
"My new boyfriend..." Bee said with a straight face, "...and his ex."
Ess cringed.
The man in the straitjacket struggled and murmured loudly while the girl beside him glared at the lady at the wheel. She was somehow being removed from the picture, and she couldn't help but want to bark out her frustration.
"Don't worry babe, we'll be home soon," Bee said to her male victim. The man immediately turned pale.
This bitch was causing a phenomenal misunderstanding!
"Hmm…hmmm hmm... hmm!"
He attempted to protest, but it was no use.
"You're allowed to be intimate with someone, but I'm not?" said Ess clicking his tongue. "I had been going out with that girl for a full year, you know? She was a lot better than the others."
Bee snickered… with a straight face.
"You lost your humanity years ago. I did that girl a favor."
She turned the wheel sharply, shifted the gear lever, and pressed the gas harder.
The car roared as it made another turn.
"I was trying to appeal to my humanity through romance. I was so close too," said Ess, and he rested his elbow on the frame of the car door. His frown grew deeper. "Why did you bring the V-Amp anyway? Aren't there faster cars at home?"
Bee's expression flickered for a second before she responded:
"It's complicated."
She pulled out her pistol when the car reached an intersection, pointed it out the window, and fired five shots that blew the heads of five policemen who were in three different cars moving in to intercept from the right.
The commotion caused by the carnage didn't stop Bee from operating the wheel and the gear lever with one hand, and the car blasted to the left unhindered a moment later.
"Hmph. Why would you use your pistols in a chase like this? Where's your J.U.N.K?" Ess asked lazily.
"I left it at home. Where's yours? I could use some help here."
"You saw me put it in its case and give it to Twist when I left home, dumbass. And I won't be helping you solve something you started!" Ess ejaculated.
"Ass."
"Bitch."
Bee suddenly leaped from her seat, leaving the wheel.
"Take the car," her voice reached her brother only a moment later.
"Dammit, Bee!" barked Ess, and he jumped into the driver's seat, taking control of the car.
Bee soared almost four meters into the air. The V-Amp had shaken from the force she exerted. Her lavish heels fell from her before she landed on the tarred road, her dainty feet digging a crater into it.
Her long, red dress fluttered in the wind and she pulled up its hem to reveal the smooth, porcelain skin of her thighs where two weird holsters that housed six pistols could be seen.
Bee faced the armored truck speeding towards her and then bolted forward like a rocket. The two men at the head of the truck turned pale.
Bee smashed through the windscreen, her body straight as an arrow as it passed between them. Before the two men could react, two gun muzzles had already pointed to their temples, and in the next mini-instant…
Bang! Bang!
Right when blood, bone, and brain matter spewed out, Bee hugged herself, and seamlessly flitted through the open slot on the plating which separated the segments of the truck.
The seven men in the back panicked at the sight of Bee flying in, doing a cartwheel, and slamming the naked heel of her foot into one of them. She obliterated the man's helmet and head easily.
The truck jerked from the impact.
BRRRR! BRRR!
The six armored men opened fire in the confined space of the truck, screaming. Terror and fury were mixed into their voices.
Unfortunately, they barely saw the figure of the expressionless beauty amid the sparks of orange. The next thing they knew, another one of them was sent blasting into the truck wall after taking a brutal unguarded punch.
The truck shook again. The victim had both his armor and chest busted open like a melon.
The others were paralyzed instantly.
Lady, that is modified alloy, they all wanted to say.
In a matter of seconds, the men fell one by one, and when they were all on their way to see whether or not there was an afterlife, Bee blasted open the doors to the back of the truck.
The view of the interceptors, and other heavy police vehicles charging aggressively would have been daunting for most, but not for the cold beauty. She grabbed one of the armored men's guns. It looked like a smaller and more stylish version of an AEK-999 rifle.
DUDUDUDUDUDUDUDU!
The gun fired its lengthy rounds without pause.
Every one of the pursuers in view – policemen or otherwise – was torn to shreds without exception. It didn't seem to matter whether or not they had bulletproof vests and armor; the bullets found their marks. They punished glass, metal, and rubber alike, causing many of the racing vehicles to explode outright, and others to collide… and then light up into fireworks.
Sprawled human insides completed the ghastly look of the scene, and after appreciating it, Bee stopped spraying ammunition and remarked:
"Bull's-eye."
She rushed to the driver's seat, and the truck, which had been decelerating, shot forth to catch up to the V-Amp. Bee jumped from the armored truck and into the jeep.
"You didn't do jack shit!" mocked Ess as they swapped places.
Sure enough, from behind the roaring flames and smoke that rose from the piles of police vehicles on the road – Bee's handiwork – many more vehicles appeared in hot pursuit of the jeep.
"There's too many of them," Bee said, "Luckily I planned for that."
The two frightened souls in the back seat were trembling. They couldn't help but wonder about the background of their kidnappers more severely. Well, the violence gave a few clues.
"V-Amp, blood boost," Bee said, before glancing at one of the two in the back seat. "Chew the ex."
The V-Amp grunted as if to respond to her words, and in the next second, the girl by the mayor's son's side started sinking into her seat. She tried to scream to her boyfriend for help, but all he could do was pretend as though he actually had the strength to bust through the straitjacket. What else could he do?
The girl was devoured by her seat and what followed afterward, was as horrific as it was thrilling.
The V-Amp suddenly screeched, and from its exhaust pipes, a crimson flame blazed with a searing intensity. The car sped forward like a black demon with a crimson tail.
The view on both sides of the road was replaced by a mash of colors and bold trails!
All the cars in the way were either flattened or rammed through along with their inhabitants, but the V-Amp sustained no damage whatsoever.
The mayor's son sank into his seat, a chilling grip of terror visible in his wide-open eyes. In stark contrast, Bee and Ess had relaxed, borderline bored faces.
The car quickly left the city, only decelerating after it was two hundred meters away from the 'Welcome to Red Biscuit' sign.
"Oh, I thought she would last longer," said Bee before turning to Ess. "They'll keep following us, little bro. Can you please help out before we spend the next few days with the Bureau on our tail?"
Ess groaned.
It sure would be annoying to have to deal with those guys. His peaceful life was already ruined, so he might as well.
"Fine."
Ess stood on his seat and leaned against the headrest with his right arm. He sighed and looked back at the grand city one final time.
"And I was getting fond of it,' he thought.
He raised his left hand before him. The view of Red Biscuit City appeared between his index finger and thumb and he looked through them like one would through a telescope. The young man then brought his fingers together and…
"Squish."
With a sound akin to countless thunders blaring at once, the grand, luxurious city expired.
