One of the Clean Riders climbing with Fang had sacrificed themselves in order to give Fang an opening to reach one of the Utilities in the sky. He had grabbed one at random, but he made sure it was Violet – the safest bet. Another one of the Riders he was climbing up with was heading for a Utility of his own.
Fang urged to aim for that one.
The Colossus had also gotten its hands on another Utility – a Green one – and it eyed Ess malevolently. Right then, the distinct gleam of its eyes was revealed, no longer obscured by its bright body. Well, that was the case momentarily.
Ess narrowed his own.
'I see,' he thought and braced. Green Sparks produced the least variety of abilities, but in terms of augments to physical properties, they were undoubtedly the best.
