"So where's your brother and his dragon?" Xander asked the girl, trying hard to muster an expression that didn't breed boredom. It wasn't that he looked down on them or anything, but he honestly had no time to waste.
It was the girl's father, who had been unabashedly eavesdropping on them that rushed to answer. "They are back at the village square. Can you truly help us? This is the first bond that our village has taken on in the past decades." He wailed.
Xander scoffed under his breath, "Lead the way."
