"Captain Yan?"
Lu Yang looked at the man who appeared in the ward, somewhat at a loss.
His voice did not make Mo Shangjun turn around, but it did make Xiu Yi stare blankly, watching the 'Captain Yan' that came out of Lu Yang's mouth.
It was a man who was only slightly older than them, but definitely not by many years. He wasn't wearing a military uniform, but rather, casual civilian clothes. The chill emanating from him made one's hair stand on end, so much so that after only glancing at the man's face, he quickly averted his gaze.
Perhaps it was an unintended brush with the man's piercing gaze that made him feel a bone-deep chill, stiffening his body to the point of powerlessness.
"Mm."
Ya Tianxing glanced at Lu Yang and responded indifferently.
Yet, he showed no intention of staying long, not even exchanging pleasantries with Lu Yang.
Under Lu Yang's watchful eyes, he left the room without saying a word.
