After ensuring that there were no remnants left, Mo Shangjun put the analyzed draft papers into the shredder, and then turned off the study's lights to return to her side bedroom to rest.
In fact, she didn't rest much at all, as the complicated clues swirled around her mind, causing some insomnia.
The next day.
Despite being half-disabled, Mo Shangjun didn't slack off. She woke up punctually at 5:30 AM, tidied up the side bedroom, then changed into the short-sleeved shirt and long pants she had washed and dried the day before, and went out.
Ya Tianxing seemed to not want to see her, and it was rare to find him still in his bedroom at 7 AM.
Mo Shangjun placed breakfast on the dining table, as a thank-you for staying one night, then, after answering a call from her uncle, she went straight downstairs.
It wasn't until she got into the car that she finally sent Ya Tianxing a message telling him she was leaving.
But, Ya Tianxing didn't respond.
