"Mo Vice Captain, do you think that the outcome is irrelevant?"
When Lang Yan asked this question, his expression was very serious, so serious that it was only seen during particularly important moments.
Mo Shangjun was slightly stunned, then smiled, "Commander Lang, you should know, I am under no obligation to stand united with you."
After a slight pause, Lang Yan's ears turned red, clearly embarrassed.
He had just been... a bit too eager, subconsciously wanting Mo Shangjun to take a side.
"However," Mo Shangjun continued, changing the subject, "I am not opposed to your persistence."
"Really?" Lang Yan asked in surprise.
"Mhm." Mo Shangjun nodded.
Lang Yan breathed a sigh of relief.
He didn't want his warriors to look forward to war. He couldn't control other companies, but he could manage his own, and he thought, at the very least, his company shouldn't be thinking about war every day.
